Introduction and Thesis Statement

Sometimes in life you cant choose the position that you're put in, you just have to deal with it the best that you can. Thats what Hazel Grace is doing in the book The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. Hazel is fighting for her life against this awful thing called cancer. Not that she has any hope of winning, the cancer is incurable. But she just cant leave without knowing that she put up a fight. As if that isnt enough for her to deal with everything changes when her boyfriend August's cancer comes back. This is a book that I would recommend to a high school student because its emotional, it teaches life lessons, and it leaves you always wanting more.
